State Route 70 (Alabama) : ウィキペディア英語版
Alabama State Route 70

State Route 70 is an eight-mile-long (13 km) state highway entitrely in southern Shelby County, Alabama. The eastern end of this highway is at its junction with State Route 25 in Columbiana. The western terminus of this highway is at its junction with U.S. Highway 31 just north of Calera. West of the western end of State Route 70, the road continues as Shelby County Road 22. The junction of U.S. Highway 31 with Interstate 65 at exit 231 is less than one mile (1.6 km) from the junction of U.S. 31 with State Route 70.
==History==
The junction of State Route 70 with U.S. 31 is approximately highway miles south of downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Until the mid-1990s, State Route 70 between Columbiana and Calera passed through a mostly rural area of the county. Since then, numerous new housing developments have been constructed along this highway route, to house part of the growing population of Shelby County. Besides Columbiana and Calera, State Route 70 does not pass through any other incorporated towns or villages.
